Man. That thing sure looks like a vagine. Hell, its the best kind of vagine ever. You don't have to look for it, buy it flowers, feed it, listen to what it says. It just sort of jumps of you and then you make out with it for the rest of your life.

While I confess that my initial thought on seeing that screenshot was the EXACT same thing...

...the eyes kinda put me off. I'm not use to it LOOKING BACK AT ME. That's sorta creepy. Especially because they are totally 'old man/zombie' eyes.

Ha, I knew I wasn't the only one seeing a giant vagina there. Though I gotta say, the thing (facehugger) looked different in the AvP2 game. It had this thing, like a tube. For sure it didnt have a vagina.
 
lmfao, I saw the alien vs predator movie the other day. I was like what so bad about vaginas jumping on your face.
 
After it connects to your mouth it shoves a long tube down your throat that implants its seed. It's totally like getting face raped... the whole process is violenty sexual. Alien has always been like that, right down to the ripely/alien sex scene :S
 
Yeah the face-hugger's always looked like a vagina...I don't know why people are so surprised all of a sudden.

I'm straight, and I think that's gross. I don't care if this winds up being the best game of 2008, because I'm not playing it.

Original face hugger had a tube around 3 inches long in place of the now vagina-hole. This is best illustrated in Aliens when they first find the face hugger in the stasis tubes, it jumps against the glass and the tube sucks on the glass.
It is also well seen in Aliens when Ripley and Newt wake up to being attacked. Bill Paxton kills one, the other gets Ripley her around the neck, she is holding it back with both hands and as the marines try to pull it off her, you can see the tube going for her mouth.
Also well seen in Aliens when Bishop is first examining the corpse of the face hugger.

The vagina became the norm for the AvP movie, but those are jokes and an embarrassment tot he franchise.
 
Which kind of vagina do you like more, the kind that has headache every night or one that agressively comes out to get you?

The original Xenomorph design was created by the artists H.R. Giger. Giger has a rather unique style which often displays sexual imagery. Some of Gigers work has even landed him in legal troubles, with an obscenity lawsuit being filed against him for one of his "erotic landscape" paintings.
