I have five or six of those for LAN parties at my house.OMG. I have, almost the exact same desk/table as you. Now I feel lame.
j/k. My dad got me it because he thought a picnic table would be a better substitute to a desk.![]()
triplehead on widescreens (they need to update their stuff to work with these monitors)triple head on non-native res?
All that setup and a fold out chair!!? Common!
What's the rest of the system specs? How do you find stability. I've always gone bleeding edge, but after the last few bleeding edge problems I trying to stay away from this. Quad SLI, 4X4, etc comes to mind![]()

Too bad 3-Way SLI doesn't work on Skulltrail.
Am I the only enthusiast that keeps side panels on all his machines?
4-way . . .
4-way . . .
Too bad that doesn't work either. Only Crossfire is supported for all four slots.
NVIDIA doesn't have four way SLI unless you count the 7950GX2. Quad-SLI is four GPUs on two cards. 3-Way SLI however is 3 GPUs on 3 seperate cards which NVIDIA doesn't support on the Skulltrail. According to an E-Mail we got from NVIDIA on the subject Skulltrail can not and never will support 3-Way SLI. I covered this in the Intel Skulltrail Preview Article.

Here is a sneak peek . . .
I actually tried 3-Way SLI when I was setting up the Skulltrail test system used in the Intel Skulltrail Preview Article and when 3-Way SLI didn't work I contacted Kyle who in turn contacted Intel. Intel contacted us right away and let us know that SLI support was up to NVIDIA, but that NVIDIA had already told them that 3-Way SLI would not work on the Skulltrail motherboard.
I thought that it was likely a driver issue. Then a day or so before the Skulltrail article was to be published we received an E-Mail from NVIDIA. Their E-Mail clearly stated that the nForce 100 MCPs integrated into the D5400XS motherboard were not capable of 3-Way SLI support and that it was a hardware limitation and not a driver issue.
Danger Den . . .not on their storefront yet tho . . .Where did you get the reservoirs for the DDC's? Or anybody else know?
Welcome to my world. We are in a minority![]()
I have my side panels on... they only come off when I need to work on the machine.![]()
Four cards sounds pretty intense. I'm interested to see if this works or not. Have you tested it out yet at all DB? Or are you still waiting on some stuff before you are able to?
