are page 2 views borked?

i'm getting a few instances where when i click to goto page 2 of a thread it just remains at page 1..

even if i manually put the &page=2 in the url.. (&page=3 doesn't help either)..
 
You guys have your options set to view 20 posts per page? I have mine set to 40 and am not having any problems so far.

The fact that I'm not having the same problem as the OP, whom I believe has his options set to view 20 posts per page, as opposed to 40, and like I clearly stated in my post I am not having the same problem as the OP and Mr. phunkman are/were.

But to make it 110% clear, I have my options set to view 40 posts per page and I am not experiencing the "2nd page view not working" .... as far as I can tell, it's working just fine and I have been browsing the forums off and on all day...

You have stated that you were not having the same issue that they and I, are having, twice you mentioned it, we are aware :p , but the issue at hand is not you finding a way around it, it's the fact that, if people have their hardforums preferences set to default (like myself), they will experience the same issue, your work-around it definitely works, but if the 2nd page issue is indeed, an issue, it should be resolved, never know what else creep up due to it. But your work-around worked for me, so thanks!:D

It remains highlighted as unread too.

There have been no changes to my PC for weeks, this just started happening.
I spotted it because the above thread always remained unread, then I realised I was always being taken to page 1.
Clicking on the page 2 icon also takes me to page 1.
 
same thing happens to me. and i get an error on the site that causes IE to freeze for a minute or so and lags my entire computer.

FIX PLEASE! :(
 
Yea, I am having the same problem, in one thread I think it was about uTorrent and Azureus, when I clicked to view page 2 the screen would refresh like it had changed to page 2 but it was still on page 1.

EDIT:

Just tried that thread now and it seems to be ok now.
 
That was the thread which stuck for me too.
Its been fixed by the looks of it.
 
I just tried the link posted above, and as I said, I have my options set to 40 posts per page, therefore it shows a total of 17 pages and I can only get to 16...... so my "work around" doesn't seem to work either......weird.
 
If you go to the thread I posed above you can hit reply and see that there are posts on page 33 but you still can't get to it while you can still post to it.
 
I'm having the same problem. I'm actually trying to view the 33rd page of the thread that SC385 mentioned, but I can't.
 
Is all this fixed now???? I am not seeing any issues.
