Wow this topic is getting oversized.. hehe
Anyway i decided to make an account on this game, my nick is Florian88.
Just noticed the Hard Crew.. Its even quite high in the ranks.
So how can i become part of the crew?

Ok, im totally messing this game up. I got my 30 points, so i wanted to sell em for 599k each. Accidently put em up for 599, so after 0.5 seconds removed it but i was too late allready.. :(

So i write this guy a message to give me my cut. No reply yet so i check back after 30 mins. Turns out he sent me 17.000.000.
Then i check my money and see i only have 200k, it all had been mugged even before i knew i had the money.
Honestly, i dont think i will ever open this game again.

That does suck. I think that each of us has had that happen at some point. At least it was only 30 points. Ask Manse about his "discount" sale of points.

As long as you live by the rule of being in the IW whenever you are handling decent amounts of cash you shouldn't have too many problems (although you did not know in this instance so it couldn't be helped). The guy who sent you the cash was an idiot. On a side note: check your events to see who mugged you, would be funny if it was the guy who gave you the cash (sorry, funny is not really the right word).

I am always surprised by how quickly people will mug you when you have cash out. Often less than a second or two.

That's not bad at all. Try selling 2,000 points at 600,000 and then leave the game for 24 hours...

It didn't happen to me, but I did take advantage of the situation :D.

Wow , that was a lot of reading . Just finished reading all 51 pages . I did find some interesting things in there .

By the way we are in 11th place right now in the ranking . moving on up !

Well ive made some progress now, im allmost level 4 now and still doing the training.
Just think wanted the gold to buy a house and some other things i might need.

Still busy finding out how this game works but ill get the hang of it.

Oh m8.. and please no money. I live in Holland so ill probably be asleep while u send this so it'll be mugged all over again.

The points would be more than welcome tho hehe.. :D
 
How do I get my name on the list for a carribean chain? Im trying to get the money but it isnt coming quick...
 
2Gunzz, you just need to donate to the gang, get the gang exp, and help fellow gang members. Reaper will give away chains when a person stands above the rest and really gives all he/she can for the gang. :)

just curious if this has ever happened to anyone. I was trying to attack HitMeTipMe30, because he's awesome, so I was spamming F5 for about a minute before he got out hoping to be the first one to hit him. Suddenly he's killed, not by me, but by someone else and yet I still got 6 levels. This has happened a couple of other times as well, its awesome, haha

Yeah It has happened to me a bunch of times . It can happen at buying points or stuff on the market to as long as they hit F5 at the same time .
 
Just logged on and first thing I did was a lucky dig for $91,462. Is that pretty good? I opened a bank account and deposited $50k. Now looking to see what I can do next.

You can usually get a couple hundred k from lucky dip. And some money from didding for treasure but that amount is dependent on your level.

I'm looking for better equipment, I know I dont really need it but I just want to have it. I'm primarily training Str/Speed. As of right now I have equipped an Elegant Captain's Hat (Def+60%) Captain's Scimitar (Str+58%) Admiral Coat (Def+79%) Calico Jack's Cursed Whip(Str+59%) and a Peg-Leg(Speed+52%) and I dont have an accessory or sea charm or boots.

So I'm thinking I need new pants, a new hat, a new weapon, and an accessory, and boots as well. What are out there that would be good/better for me?

2Gunnz: Due to the fact that the Caribbean Chain is a significant investment on the gang's part to fuel your training, I try to make sure that you're loyal to the gang, as well as interested in playing this game for quite a while. Don't worry though, you're getting close ;-).

The only problem we're facing right now is a lack of gang donations...there isn't enough donations right now to fuel the continued purchase of Chain's. I'm thinking of ways to increase that...

Harry, definitely. I'll do that right after I post this message.

Incinerator: Are you working towards doing strength/speed or strength/defense, or some other combination?

Well, you need flash pants then (I just sent you some)! You'll probably want to pick up some boots now that they're out as well. I don't know how much they cost, but you may want to ask mello about the boots in buccaneer's refuge.
 
well I just got Davey Jones' Tomahawk Musket(Str+90% :D), and now pretty much my net worth is just my 25 awakes (~3.125bill) now my big question is what to do? I tried to sell my other awakes twice but neither time were they bought off of the market so I traded those 20 for the DJTM.

But I'm worried that something will happen and Awakes will go down in price and I'll be screwed. Since I'm unable to sell them, I think I'm limited to pretty much 2 options, 1) hold onto them and hope they appreciate 2) Look for rare items on the market forum and trade them away.

I've never really dealt with this scenario so let me know what I should do :)
 
Incinerator , to the best of my knowledge that would be a good price that you paid . Please somebody correct me if I am wrong but I thought the DJTM was like $18.00 , and 25 awakes would be $11.00 . I may be wrong but I think this is right .


I don't know about anybody else but that WW1 was pretty fun tonight .
 
PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!!! the semester is over and now i can spend a lot more time on this game, i kinda lost interest and had a bunch of shit to do but its show time now.

also a question, how much of that money in the bank is actually for the chain, i donated like 200 points yesterday but i can never tell where were standing on the collective gang's money

Right now, from what I can tell, there's a little over 1.2 billion that is the gang's, unless Rufio!'s recent donations are being added to that, which would make it slightly over 2 billion. I still need to check with him on that.

Incinerator: I really don't know how to advise you on the awakes. I'd like to think that the prices on awakes will collapse soon, as the price of a single awake is far more than most people make every night with their interest and slots, but I can't guarantee that will actually happen as there are a couple people that seem to be keeping awake prices really high.
 
Anyone have a good idea one what to stack for training? what works best for hard core training. Im gettin worked by level 100 guys.

Best thing to use are 5 69% boosters if you can.. If you cant get them just use 5 25% ones. Be sure to have a bunch of awakes and points ready when you train so you can keep going for the whole 15/20min. Also using a 3 tab system will maximize the amount of time you will be able to train in the short span.

Have one tab on training, another on refilling points, and the last of refilling awake.
 
What is the deal with this guy Luke . I know he has to be getting tired of the IW , because I know I am getting tired of sending him there .;)
 
just in case you guys didn't know - Nasty Parrots can be used to store money if you're terrified of deflation like me. Nasty Parrots are $200000, and sell back to the store for $200000 so you lose absolutely nothing.

I currently have 11k Parrots solely because I am afraid that if I store awakes or points that eventually (before I get to use them) that they will drop in price below what I spent on them. So this is pretty much just for those who are pansies like me, haha.
