Nice clean computer there Halloween. I like it.

And thanks NickS for the help on those speakers.
One last question however, what camera do you have apex32?

I built myself a desk last summer and just redid part of it and added a new section. It's tough as hell and its strong enough for anything I throw at it. It also gives me plenty of desk space for studying and working on computers. If you're wondering what that big black thing is, its a RipperXXL Xtrac pad. Its there so my keyboard and joystick stick in place better.

This is the special section I made for my computer. I plan on making a window for this case eventually, and that is why I made the side wood like a window. The wood window also allows me easy access to the side of the case and cables without having to move the case.

This next shot shows how strong the legs are. They also provide a little place to put things for storage.

Here is just another bottom shot showing where I stuck my server.

I currently have the black 21 inch(I painted it a long time ago) connected to both the server box and my main pc(as a desktop extension). The top of the desk is a bit messy, but I don't care since I access those boxes all the time, they contain spare computer parts, cables etc I need while working on pc's.

Its the Canon Powershot A620 (7.1MP) I love it.

Those Polks look really good. I like the wood grain so much more than black.
Yup! I thought so too, the natural wood finish looks much better, and more clean imo.

I agree, but I wanna know how they sound.. anyone?
They sound fantastic, especially for the price. They have everything you want in a speaker, and they arent that big either, yet they produce great sound and will be much louder than you probably even need or want. NickS is right too, The Eagles does sound pretty phenomenal, pretty much anything does.

hey wat size is that func pad? does it slide around or is teh bottom grip pretty good?...i wanna get one with a customized logo
its the Large sized one which is rather large hehe. 17" x 11" iirc. It is extremely grippy on the bottom, you cant even side it on my desk unless you pick it up and move it, its that awesome. I would highly recommend it. Mine is the fUnc F.10s Large to be exact.

what's the model number on those polk speakers?
They are the Polk R-15's.

apex32, what is that your table? looks like a roll or something. i must know!
Its a wood coaster hehe.
ps what kind of desk is that?
Its a Futura L desk from office max. it was $179 iirc.

Halloween did you buy that case like that or did you mod it yourself ?Because it looks very very nice and professional too! It's true it looks like a G5 now love the look!

I bought the case but sent the panel off to be modded, the company that did it were doing it on a limited basis. I wasn't confident enough in my own modding skills to attempt it on a very hard case side panel like that of the p180. The result turned out better than i expected :). I also asked for a custom window etch as a wanted it be unique. I could have attempted it myself but i'm sure you'll agree the end product justified my decision. Cheers for the compliments :) as my first build i'm very hapopy with it, took a long time to decide on the case and all the hardware, about 6 months of saving and researching.

Hey guys...I just thought I'd post an update. First Image is a picture of my newest setup with my new desk.

The second image is sort of a look back of what my setup sort of evolved from. From the end of my Junior year of HS- to the beginning of my 2nd year of college. Enjoy!

Great setup, SandMan! A helluva lot nicer than my college computer system.

What kind of LCD mounting arm are you using? It looks a lot sturdier than others I've seen.

It's a generic brand, from computergeeks.com. Thanks for the support ^_^

Sandman, your setup is absolutely beautiful. I love everything about both of the different setups.
Ohh, and I have that same backpack hanging on your door. I hate it, too bulky. And I don't have a laptop to carry around anymore, so.. :[

Here is mine, it's not a lot but it does what I need it to do. Yeah, I know it's a mess and I need to do something with the wires.

A fellow Hulk enthusiast. I love it! I've got that same big Hulk glaring at me from a nearby shelf. I can't wait for World War Hulk!!!

This is my normal workstation: BenQ FP202W, normally my Shuttle XPC SN27P2 (running Fedora Core 7)

Note: Between our two machines we have ~2.2TB in that room. My shuttle has a 1TB RAID0 config.

My setup as of right now (taken with an Optio S5i, they're fuzzy)

So far I'm really enjoying this Westy (LVM-37w3). I got it this last week! :D

Hey I have that same Panasonic surround sound system! I set mine up with the rear speakers on that wireless thing but they sound a little weak, how do you have yours, and how does it sound?

I have mine wired in. They're strong, accurate, and there is no buzzing/static noise during idle time.

However, back in the day (a wednesday btw), I had my wireless router hidden in the tv stand. The signal caused the speakers to cut out frequently (this was also noted in the manual)... I also found that they were noisy (the static) and muffled sounding.

I sold that wireless kit and made me $80 :p

IKEA coffee table FTW!

(I know IKEA when I see it! My apartment is basically an IKEA showroom. :D )

I'll take some pics of the balance of my setup tonight and put them up...I think the only thing in my living room thats NOT from IKEA is maybe a picture frame I have on my wall. lol

Ok...as promised here is my setup as well as my entertainment center goodies:

Computer Desk (the computer itself is in the small cabinet on the left side of the desk)...oh and my chair recently broke so I'm using one of my dining room chairs for the time being:
