Basically, the fullness I'm referring to is simply turning off the 7.1 on my G930s using the switch on the headset.
Sadly, up here in Ontario (Canada) alot of the big name box stores are implementing a policy (for hygene purposes apparently) of not allowing returns on headphones/headsets. My...
Hi Folks...
As exclusively a gamer (and the occasional youtube music video) I'm looking for some opinions about replacing my Logitech G930 headset with the Xonar DGX soundcard and the Beyerdynamic MMX300 headset. While my preference would be to get the Astro A50s because of its wireless...
Sorry...I was referring to having my resolution set to anything less than 2560x1600 for basic stuff like reading webpages and such. My videocard has no problems running at 2560x1600 for gaming, but I was just thinking about reducing to 1920x1200 for other programs to increase text size...

yeah...my vision isn't 20/20 with glasses or contacts, and I sit about 3' away. Unfortunately, running 1920x1200 looks like crap (at least text wise-looks blurry and has a black shadowing effect) when the video card does the scaling.
That said, though, I love gaming on this thing ;)

Hey folks...
I'm getting conflicting information from the dell.ca website about whether the monitor has height adjustment. One place says yes, and another says no. Could someone who has it please confirm either way?
Thanks...

Good evening...
First off, I'm in Canada, so my prices are going to be higher than what is listed in the US. I've been doing a lot of reading, and quite honestly, I'm not sure which monitor to get, either the Dell 3007WFP-HC or LG W3000H-BN. The cost of the HP is too high for me, and...
Good Evening...
I picked up a Samsung 2693HM monitor and while, for the most part, I'm enjoying it, but I have what may be a problem which may result in me returning the monitor. Sitting about 2' away from it, I'm getting a purplish hue at the bottom quarter of the screen where it should be...
if you're looking at doing CAD work, I had an LN32A550 monitor running at 1920x1080, and I didn't like the jaggies caused because the the size of the pixels. At 37", it's only going to look worse...

Those of you using this for a computer monitor...after some time, still like it, or would rather have a normal monitor? I'm looking at using it about 3 feet away...(primarily for gaming (CODWAW and Iracing), with some autocad on the side)...
Thanks...
Dave
Unfortunately, from what I can tell, the DoubleSight is not available in Canada, and the Planar is $1100 CDN from CDW-Canada. In addition, I don't know what the return policy is for CDW-Canada, and at that kind of money, I'd rather go 30".
Thanks for the advice though guys...

Unfortunately, only the 2493hm would be an option, as there's no Benq's available for viewing. In addition, I'd prefer to go 26" instead of 24", but is a 26" really a big upgrade over a 22"?
Thanks...
Dave
Good evening...
I've been considering an upgrade from my 22" Acer AL2216W and I'm considering going to a 25.5" Samsung T260 monitor (non HD version...or possible the 2693HM). Because I want to order from Futureshop where I can return it if I don't like it without any hassles (hence the...
So, in the E-mode, there's no way to adjust the settings? Too bad. While I see you're still happy with your purchase, would you recommend it to others? Lastly, as posted in the post above, is the input lag acceptable, and what about ghosting?
I'm really looking to get this, but I'm nervous...
Sorry, just to ask a couple of things off of your questions: Sharpness as mentioned...I'm looking at the Samsung LN32A550, but I don't see any mention of disabling processing. Can't see anything on that. What is it exactly?
As well, what is this screen door/chicken wire effect you're...
How far away do you sit from it, and how's the text look? While I know it'll be great for gaming, I do surf and autocad with it. That's my main concern, and I would be replacing a 22" acer...

Hello...
I'm looking at possibly purchasing this 32" samsung TV http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10099955&catid=23521&logon=&langid=EN TV as my computer monitor, primarily for gaming, surfing, and some autoCAD. It's 1080p (running at 1920x1080 or so) and has a...
