ZZF having E6600 Friday

Multiple people have called into ZipZoomFly and they say they will have more chips available tommorow, specifically the E6600. I hope their right. I will be getting it tommorow from ZZF if this is true and its not absurdly priced.

Bad news guys...

just spoke to ZZF and the rep said that all orders taken last night and today for the 6300 will only be shipping august 7th. Also that any "IN STOCK" or "ADD TO CART" for E6300-E6700 are all virtual stock and regaurdless of when its added they will only ship august 7th... no need to camp out till midnight...

Damn, they suck! :p

For my order status for the 6300 I ordered last night, it says "packed" for its status. So what does that mean? It's virtually packed up?

screw zzf. At least I got it for a decent price though ($199), and now I have plenty of time to pick out a motherboard.:)
 
well than where o where will get conroe e6600 before next week? I just want to have it shipped to my home early next week...not two weeks from now.
 
So I am maybe thinging going with the 6400. At 2.8 it was holding its own with the 6800 and it is decently cheap.

I shall see if I can get it tomorrow.

If you're going to get one today then you won't get the tracking number till tonight.
 
a few people over at XS have recieved tracking numbers from tiger direct... some people that spoke to TD were told NOTHINg will ship today, while others were told their item will ship tonite or tomorrow

Yep, thats why I took my money for the E6600 and spent it on water cooling. I'll wait until everybody and their mother's brother has them in stock. Then I will order one up.
 
I'm glad I called ZZF. Like some of the others here I placed an order. I was told by the rep. that they won't receive any of the processors until August and that this was for pre-ordering unfortunately. I think it is lame that when I did make the order there was no information stating such.
