I'm switching PCs and am having one heck of a time getting my Windows Phone to sync to the Zune software.

So this tells me it is SEEING my phone, just can't connect for some retarded reason.

Yes, Microsoft has alot of articles on this but none of them help.

What I've tried:
1) The device drivers on the phone appear to be OK as many Microsoft articles ask me to verify. There are no issues with the drivers, it says they are working OK in Device Manager.

2) I've ran the Zune software as another user and even Administrator and get the same result.

3) I've went on the old PC, exported the Personal Certificates (which Microsoft articles say to delete and let Zune re-create (doesn't work) on the problematic PC) to the new PC, didn't fix it.

4) On the old PC I connected it up and told it to forget the phone, and it still won't work on the new PC.

5) Even tried different cables and USB ports.

I'm at a loss here, any ideas?

I didn't see you mention this... have you re-installed Zune and are you using the cable your phone came with?

Tried re installing already.

you get the USB "da-dink" sound when plugging and uplugging the phone?
Yes.

I have so many USB cables, I don't know. It's a cable that works with another PC.
Yes, I've tried re-installing Zune (it's actually a fresh install anyway, I've never done anything with it).

Just out of curiousity, are you plugging it into a usb 3.0 port, or one of those combo eSATA/USB ports?

when im trying to sync my samsung focus to zune to transfer music and etc, it always stops halfway and tells me to restart my phone. then i try wifi sync, and it takes like hours to actually detect the phone, then it stops halfway as well. any fix to this?
