Zune 64 HD is real!

Damn, need BADLY! Heard this was coming but I thought it was latter in the spring. My wife is going to kill me. April is going to be VERY expensive for me.:mad:

Yup its real. My friend was really mad when he found out a 64GB version is coming out. He just bought a zune.
 
I'd get one if I didn't already have a 32GB, which has been enough for me so far. I have about 12GB free on it, and it's probably 95% music. It would be nice to have the 64, to put a lot more videos on it, but for now I can manage... Also, it's 350 bucks, and I'd rather put that money towards something else right now.
 
I would of been all over this like 3 days ago but I just found my Zune 120gb that was lost for over a year and a half. It's still in awesome condition too.
 
What poetic justice on April Fools Day! Glad you found it, still have a couple 80GB Zune 2.5 years old and they never gave me any problems, players!
 
Yea, I have the Zune 8, and Zune 80. I want and HD, but the 80 works just fine.

I'm actually waiting for Win 7 mobile phones to hit, then might get one of those instead of a the Zune HD.... If they made THAT into a phone, I'd be all over it..

I think I'm gonna take the same route but I may pick-up a 16gb HD for shits.
 
Perhaps I am just an odd individual (wouldn't surprise me in the least :rolleyes:) but I really don't see the point in having an ipod or zune when all the smartphones have such similar functionality.

I currently have a BB Bold 9000 and have used that as my MP3 player for the last year and a half - I intend on getting the HTC Evo when it comes out as well, which afaik has the same functionality as the zune/ipod.

The only difference is that the Evo is capped at using a 32gb sdcard, where as the zune and ipod can hold up to 80gb.

I'm sure someone is going to mention battery usage, but I intend on having a car charger and one in the office as well, so that isn't really an issue.

I can't really attest to sound quality though. Is there a huge difference in that? If so, then I can 100% understand all the audiophiles out there preferring a dedicated mp3 player.

I just bought a new headphones, and have 3 different sounds from each of my gadgets I connect them to. Laptop = Best, Desktop = Close, Zune = No EQ <_<

Laptop has the punchiest bass, Desktop is a bit less punchy, but can crank the volume higher, and the zune... Well... Needs an EQ, badly.
 
I have a zune classic 30gb and my wife has a 16gb zune hd. I'm so jealous I want the zune hd!

Zune 30 ftw. I miss mine. And I hate the thief who took it at my friends party. Frigging epic sound quality.
 
I sooo want a Zune HD... but.. it's no use for me unless it can hold 200 gigs worth of music/movies/music videos.

I am Eclectic when it comes to music... so I need alot of space.

This has happened to me before as well. I want a Zune HD badly, but I have so many people in and out of my home that I am worried about this happening again. For now I will stay with my Sansa Clip:(
 
I want a zune HD too, but I'm holding off to see exactly what windows phone 7 phones will have to offer in terms of sound quality and storage space. Right now I have a zune 120 and love it, just wish it could do some of the things the HD can do. I live in Canada, but don't see an issue if I want an HD, i'd just hop the border.

I usually am. I have a stereo in the main living area and I connect my mp3 player to the stereo (now my clip) . Thats how I typically play my music. I lock my door to my room of course during a party.

The night my MP3 player got stolen, my house got a little out of hand and the cops ended up being called and I had to deal with that. Needless to say I have learned my lessons from that night.
 
My ZuneHD stays in the car unless I need to update it or get some new podcasts. The latest firmware for it just came out, it added a smart playlist creator like the ipod has. Pretty handy.
 
I leave my Zune30 in the car, and take my ZuneHD with me... but I was wanting this 64gb... if I can get it in black I might just sell my 32 and get this :D
