ZR30W or LP3065

what are you asking really?

fast refresh, more color... it is newer, it is better, worth $200 idk really never used a LP but I have the ZR30w and it is an amazing monitor and will recommend it highly over the Dell 30s, which I have used(Dell just came out with there new 30", have not used it and know very little about it).

There was a thread, think I started it too, guy in there bought 3 of them for $980 I piece I think. or maybe it was $1080, check around there are good deals, I basically pre-ordered mine directly from HP and paid $1199 but at the time is was cheaper than any other 30" out.
 
HP dropped the 3065 from their web site a couple of weeks ago so it is probably out of production. Also, it only has DVI ports. In a few years that may be a problem.

I bought my 3065 2.5 years ago and it has been flawless. Well, except for its shortcomings related to IPS. One of the reasons I jumped on it at the time is that the 3065 is not listed as RoHS compliant. If you don't know what that means, search my past posts for a rant against RoHS and a link to an article.

I consider the 3065 among the smartest purchases of my life.
 
Wow what is wrong with DVI ports? :p

I am using a DVI port on mine. (display port has issues with some games on my 5850s)

but that is a good point Display port could be a standard before to long.
