Zotac 1060 Mini : Initial Impressions

Bit of a necro bump, but do any of the GTX 1060 mini GPUs have a silent idle operation mode? As in, the fans stop completely when GPU is idle. I'm interested in one for my HTPC, so noise is a very high priority. My HTPC case Fractal Define Mini is pretty insulated on the inside to reduce noise, so a GPU that vents to the outside of the case would be ideal to avoid runaway GPU temps (and associated fan noise).

When you say EVGA mini, do you mean SC or non SC version? Those two actually have different coolers. SC has beefier heatsink (heatpipes and all).

Really? Whoops. I would have gotten the SC and flashed to stock.

EVGA's have that with latest BIOS.
 
Guy can you please test the cards in F@h and post some numbers?
