I have a Sony DSC-P71. The camera was dropped and landed on the lens while it was extended, and now it is stuck in position. Is there any way for me to fix this on my own without sending it in to Sony? Its needed for work and I can't wait the amount of time it takes to get it back from Sony.

you probably can't fix it, but I don't know your level of skill. The motor might be broken. You should probably send it back to Sony for repairs...are you going to lose your job because you don't have the camera?
