So i totally just lucked out hella. My good buddies dad, gave me this computer monitor for free cause his wife said he couldn't keep it, and that it was too big to fit on thier desk. Its a 17-1/2inch (acutal viewability) Dell Trinitron. Well, i discoverd today, that i can now run resolutions of 1600x1200 @ 72hz ! as compared to my last monitor where i ran games at 1024x768 and my Desktop at 1280x1024 and the highest refresh rate i could run was 60hz ! Did, i get a good deal or what !

"Free" and "Works" are the key words to a good deal.

I wouldn't use 1600x1200 on the monitor for the desktop unless there was a magnifying glass handy but it sounds better than what you were using in any case.

I dunno, I got several 14" - 15" monitors that are perfectly good and I can't get rid of the damn things.
