Zip Disk Recovery Software?

I have been given a zip disk that contains important tax info, and asked to recover the data from it. I have an external USB 250 drive, and when you pop the disk in, Windows asks if I'd like to format it. Will something like GetDataBack handle external zip disks, or should I be looking for some other software. Any ideas?

I would think it would be the same as any other disk. The only way I could see it being any different is if the zip disk drive refused to send the data to the computer for some reason, which I doubt.

Easy recovery worked for me once, but you'll get re-named folders/files after recovery.
