Im having problems with one of my raidz1 pools. From time to time I get
NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM
raid ONLINE 1 0 0
raidz1-0 ONLINE 0 0 0
c8t4d0 ONLINE 0 0 0
c8t5d0 ONLINE 0 0 0
c8t6d0 ONLINE 0 0 0
errors: Permanent errors have been detected in the following files:
raid/crypt1:<0x1>
I get these READ errors on the whole pool but theres no disk reporting any read error, how can this be?
I usually just do a scrub of the pool and the error goes away, so is this some kind of ZFS bug or a drive malfunction?
Im using Solaris express 11, the disks are 3 Samsung F3 1.5 TB. The pool has encryption=on, compression=on and dedup=off.
I did/do have a SMART warnings on disk c8t6d0 but after I did a low-level format of the drive it successfully remapped the bad sectors so I hope that solved the problem.
Any thought?
