I've had this server running Napp-It / OmniOS for several years now. I decided to add 2 more drives today and a new video card. After installing everything. I boot up my system to see the below. Spent the last several hours tinkering and really have no idea what happened. Please help!

pool: Storage
state: UNAVAIL
status: One or more devices could not be opened. There are insufficient
replicas for the pool to continue functioning.
action: Attach the missing device and online it using 'zpool online'.
see: ZFS-8000-3C
scan: none requested
config:

NAME STATE READ WRITE CKSUM CAP Product

All your disks are missing.
Most propably a problem with cabling (power, disk) or a pci adapter that is not fully inserted/ partly removed during the upgrade action. Recheck all cables and adapters.

Then undo last changes (disks and videocard), check
Then add them one by one, check

I removed the new drives and video card, plugged everything back in the way it was and still nothing.

Did you discharge your self on something metal or use a grounding strap?

Your system use WWNs to detect the disks. This means that even a controller move should not
lead to a disk missing. Try a "format" command at console. This will list all disks detected by the OS (break with ctrl-c).

If all disks are there, try am import with a different name
(you can change that later with a offline pool destroy + export/import).

If disks are missing there they are simply missing: Try to find the reason.
(Power, cabling, damaged HBA)

Basically if you try another one.
When it works then with the same slot and cabling the HBA is damaged.

Sorry for the delay in posting this. I was able to resolve my issue late last night and have been busy at work this morning.

Resolution: It seems that when I added the additional hard drives AND video card, it reset and dropped my pass-through configuration. I had to re-setup the pass-through device in ESXi, reboot, and then add the pass-through device to the virtual machine. Once I did that, I was able to get everything back.

Thanks again for all of your help. I really do appreciate it.
