We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.

Hey guys,

I have a ZFS all-in-one setup with OpenIndiana. I have created a zpool with 2 vdevs and have created a dataset. The dataset is shared via NFS to Linux and via SMB to Windows and Mac OSX.

I can modify and delete any thing created by Mac OSX and Windows on all three operating systems. However, I cannot modify or delete anything created by Linux.

How can I make it so that anything created by Linux is modifiable and deletable from Windows and OSX?

Thanks.

Okay. Now this is embarrassing. I don't know what was going on. I just reset ACLs on the top folder and down recursively and now everything is working.

Good. Why not AFP for yours Macs instead of SMB ?You will gain quick directory listing and fast file transfer.
