3 weeks ago i bought 6 Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 ST3000DM001 3TB drives. I used 5 of them for a raidz1 and the other I had formatted in an NTFS machine for a few days. I then decided to make 2 mirrored vdevs for a pool with 2 1TB Samsung HD103UJ's and 2 Seagate 2TB drives.
3 weeks later I wanted to change the 1TB drives to 3TB drives so I purchased another ST3000DM001. I replaced the first 1TB drive no problem but when I went to replace the second with the new drive I get the error:
The smartinfo for both drives is:
This is the drive that came with my original 6.
This is the drive I got 3 weeks later:
I thought maybe one drive was 512 and the other 4096 but they both show the same so im not sure whats wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated on how to mirror the 2 drives or do I need to contact Seagate or something?
