ZFS 512 byte dilemma - HELP please.

I have an OpenIndianna server with a zpool of 2 Hitachi 5k3000 mirrors (2 + 2).
One drive of one mirror is giving me grief. I purchased a WD caviar green to replace it but ZFS is complaining about sector size matching. Several hours of research have revealed that the Hitachi's are 512 but the WD emulate 512 bytes, my ZFS is being stubborn.

Do I have any drive options to replace my failing Hitachi ? Drive alternates ?

Alternate strategy: Can I create a new mirror with 4k drives, add this mirror to the pool then remove/replace my failing 512 byte mirror ?

Any help is appreciated.

two options

rebuild the pool and this time build it with 4k sectors there are several tricks to do this with 512 byte drives
find a 512 byte drive

If you need to do it "live", then create a new 4k sector pool with the WD drive, copy the data across from the pool with the Hitachi drive in it, then destroy that pool and attach the now free Hitachi drive as a mirror in the new pool with the WD drive in it!
