Since I am running my Zalman ALCU7000 without the fanmate I was wondering if the fanmate could instead be used to quit down a 80mm fan instead? This 80mm is with blue LED's if that makes a difference.

If I cannot use the fanmate I also have a Musketeer that has a fan control on it that I'm using to control a front intake 120mm. Can I chain the 120mm and the 80mm to this one controller?

According to Zalman's web site, the "Fan Mate" can handle up to six watts. I think you'd be OK as long as you don't exceed that value.

Cheers - B.B.S.

6w is generally enough to handle three average 80mm fans. Just do 12 x Amps (look on the back of your fan) = watts.
