zalman fan

i just switched to a zalman cpu fan and it doesnt seem that quiet (like advertised on their website).

ive set it at auto in my bios , should i use the switch that has come with it..

i need input on that!

i didnt install the fanmate wich would give me manual control

i noticed the same thing. i took and installed the fan controller that came with it and stuck it in a hidden place inside my case. now i can put it on low and its very quiet

you need a fan controller to make it silent

To make it quiet you need the fanmate, set it to 7v.
