I'm looking for a relatively nice CPU cooling system. I was thinking of a ZALMAN. Are these any good for gaming?

I also want LED's built into it.

Can someone reccomend a nice ZALMAN for me, or suggest something else that I can use...
 
Zalman is a good company for cpus fan/water heasinks, as far as the LEDs you want, i dont think they have any HS that come stock with LEDs. You could always hard wire one on :p but yeah there are one of the best in proformance/quality around.

PS: dont fall for the ThermalTake marketing hype!!!

Playing UT2004, farcry, doom 3, ect all runs fine.

cant wait to get x800 pro vivo to replace my 9600xt 256mb card!
 
I just ordered a 7000B-Cu...the 92mm all copper version. From what I've heard its supposed to be a great cooler and really really quiet. They also make a cu(copper) and al(aluminum) version, which is a little big lighter and supposed to cool pretty much just as well. Although some people are concerned with the weight of the all copper version (755g/~1.5lbs) but IMO I dont think that should be to much of a problem.
 
The short Zalman is ok its fairly quiet offers ok cooling and probably is easier to obtain especially for those looking locally. Otherwise thermalright all the way as it is much better for ocing/noise the zalman doesnt handle overclocking too gracefully on any of the newers setups such as athlon 64.
