I have this unit installed with my Athlon 64. Great cooling, however, I am unable to tell if the fanmate2 is working. I cannot hear the differece with I turn the nob from left to right. I would like to turn it down some.
if you use everest home edition (which everyone should) there is a cpu fan RPM meter there.
also if it is supported, you could check rpms in your cmos (mine is under pc health status)
