just wondering the difference between the 7000, 7000A, and the 7000B. All I can find is that the B has less surface area and 15g less material, also has a fan mate 2. Am I missing somthing?

off the top of my head 7000 = all copper while the 7000A is copper and aluminum. also i think one can fit on either amd xp or intel boads and the other can fit on amd 64, xp, and p4 boards. i could be wrong, can anyone clarify?

I probbly should have specified I meant revisions I know the 7000cu is all copper and the 7000alcu is only part copper but there are 3 versions of each I am in terested in the copper versions and the difference between each revision. 7000cu, 7000Acu, and 7000Bcu.

7000 - Support for 478 and A64
7000A - Support for 478, A64 and Socket A
7000B - Support for 478, A64, Socket A, LGA775 and 939

I think that's it. :D

i dont hink so.
7000: 478, a64
7000a/b:478, socket A, A64, LAG775(i think it uses the same retention mech as the 478)

the B diff. is the matireal. its pure copper/alumin, or more pure, than the A as far as i can tell(look at zalmans web site)
