Has anyone here tried the Zalman 7000 series hsf on a LGA775 processor? I just put together a system with a P4 550 LGA775 processor on a abit as8 motherboard. My stock Intel hsf is loud as hell under load. I heard a lot of good things about the Zalman 7000 series and would like to give it a try. I know Zalman sells a mounting bracket for the LGA775 processor but my problem is with the CPU fan connector. The stock Intel hsf and the motherboard both have 4-pin connectors (not molex but a small 4-pin CPU fan connector). All the Zalman hsf have 3-pin connectors (even the new 7700 hsf). I was wondering if anyone here knows if Zalman's 3-pin connector will work with my motherboard's 4-pin connector. Anyone?
