I own an EVGA 6800 GT and tried Stock cooling and NV5. Just recieved the Zalman GPU cooler and it records amazing temperatures. These temps are through the nvidia software while overclocked to 400/1100

IDLE:
Stock: 53
NV5: 52
700-Cu: 46

LOAD - Counter-Strike: Source:
Stock: 64
NV5: 62
700-Cu: 52

LOAD - Maximum Heat Generation through RTHDRIBL (http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/rthdribl/):
Stock: 78
NV5: 78
700-Cu: 62

Looks ugly, but it works well!

Not as bad as the Stock cooling but noticable. The NV Silencer is a whisper in my case. Because my watercooling pump makes high pitched whirring, the 700 is silent with the case closed at 12V.

Btw: These temps recorded are with no AS5 burn in. I'll give a post when the compound settles. In my (somewhat odd) experiences with thermal compounds... The initial temperature is low, then it goes up 3-5 degrees during the burn in period and drops back its initial... Anyone else have that experience?

I've got a Similar result on my X850XT with the Zalman sink.... With the Fat at 5v, its definatly silent and still cools better than my Silencer. at 12v, it quiet enough, and totally blows away the silence.... Dropped 20+ degrees from the stock cooler w/ AS5 and 10+ from the Silenecer.

Yeah, I put one on my BFG6800U OC....the overclocking utility put it at 460/1200 w/o me having to push it up manually....and then I did push it up to 475/1200 w/o any real temperature gain. I think my case helps out a bit, since I use a PC-V2000 with two 120mm blowholes right over the card...my case makes the fan/sink face up and moves a ton of air around the top of the case right around it. I read a review of it online...and it didnt show any good results...that site must have been getting a payout from NV or something...or they used bad paste...or had bad case circulation...something...cuz mine rocks.
