z680+Audigy2 Problem

Hi everyone,
I just got my z680 and using it with my Audigy 2. I hooked the speakers with my card via 6 Channels Direct. However, when I cycled throught each speaker channel with the speaker setting in EAX console, the right rear speaker does not produce any sound, same thing when I tried noise. I tried to change the speaker around, no sound came out of that channel. I tried the Test function on the z680 remote and all speakers have noise cycled through each of them. Is it something wrong with Audigy 2 or there is a problem with the connection on the subwoofer.

First you'll want to do a quick check to see if it's the speaker. Just unplugg the right satellite speaker out of the back of the sub/amp or whatever yours plug into and switch it with the left speaker. If sound comes from the right speaker(now in the left slot so it will make sound when the left speaker is access through EAX) you'll know it's not the speaker. If it is, see if you get get a return.

Next, unplug the rear speaker output and hook in some headphones and see if you get sound out of them when doing the EAX test. If you do, it is most likely the jack where you plug the individual sattelites. If not, try doing a freash install of the newest creative drivers.

Also, make sure you have your system set up for the propper speaker setup. GL
