Z5500 optical problems when trying to use dolby digital

well i had these speakers using optical and i watched a movie and used the dolby digital that was being decoded by the z5500's. but today i go to try and use it again and it will not decode the dolby digital signal and yes i have already got external decoder required in the creative audio HQ.

btw i am using these speakers with and audigy 2 ZS

if anyone has answers please share them because i am puzzled

I have a greater problem, same speakers same card.

I wanted to update my drivers so I ran Driver Cleaner Pro in safe mode. Ok so it said it uninstalled everything. I rebooted and went into the normal mode and updated the EAX and regular driver. Now none of the volume controls or THX, EAX or EQ consoles don't work and i get tons of errors on boot up.

well after looking around and changing afew things i fixed it and now it all works while watching movies. shoney im sorry to hear about your problem but maybe you could try the system restore option in system tools to resotre your computer back to another date before you uninstalled your drivers.
