Question, I have. 5930k 4.6ghz, 3200mhz ram on X99 deluxe that runs Titan X SLI Pascal.

I considered upgrading this to 8700k for 5ghz and a Maximus X Code board.

Since my old board and CPU support both gpus at 16x will this be a bad upgrade since they will now both run at 8x.

I game at 4K maxed out.

Any advice appreciatesd. Thanks

Forgot to mention I run 3 ssd's and am NVME.
