Z370 and 8700 non-k MCE support?

Has it ever been answered if you can put a 8700 non-k cpu in a z370 mobo and enable multi core enhancement?
If yes , can you provide a link with proof?

My google-fu is failing me, half people say yes and half say no..... i see no 100% proof it works!

I believe that it's a BIOS programming thing that takes advantage of quirks in Turbo Boost.

Sorry that I don't have an answer either way- but I'll throw my guess into the 'it works' pool

Wow, 214 views and nobody actually has an 8700 non-k with a z370 board.

I had a 8400 with a z370 board and MCE worked. Boosted all cores to 3.9ghz. I would imagine it is the same with the 8700. Maybe not quite the full turbo but higher than stock.
