Z-5550 & Soundstorm problems

Before I say my problem here is what I'm working with:

Windows XP Pro
NF7-S w/ Soundstorm onboard sound
Z-5550 speakers with the analog wires

Okay so here goes...: I have all the wires connected correctly and newest nvidia drivers but when I go to do the "nvidia nvmixer" to do the speaker wizard to set up my 5.1 speakers I don't hear the white noise I am soppose to hear. Basically I only hear it in my front speakers and my subwoofer.

What can I be doing wrong? When I do the speaker test(using "test" button on the z-5550 remote) all the speakers make the correct noises in all the right spots.
 
When you are using the nvidia nvmixer to test your speakers what input and effect do you have your speakers on? because i think if you want every speaker to output a sound while testing using the nvmixer it has to be on 6 channel direct.

Okay I just found out that the color coordination of the analog inputs on my NF7-S are wrong.

I guess I solved my problem? More testing tomorrow I'm tired
 
And I just went ahead and bought a optical cable..I can really tell a difference from the regular analog.
 
well u get real time ddl encoding w/ the digital out. so thats a bonus
