when i turn on the matrix i only get sound out of the 2 front speakers. does this happen to anyone else? when i have matrix off i get all 5 speakers but the sub and volume isnt as loud.

also alot of times when i restart my comp i have to go to my volume panel and set my speakers from 2.1 to 5.1

I thought it would be the opposite... matrix on would turn on all 5.

you shouldnt need matrix with the xfi. just set it to 5.1 and turn the volume up. you can play around with cmss3d and see if you have any change also
