I have an SLK 900A and I was wondering if I would experience a performance boost (in cooling of course) if I were to use a YS Tech TMD Fan. Right now I have a good 'ol coolermaster led fan. Its 80mm and blows about 34 cfm, and very quiet. The reason I ask is because the 80 mm coolermaster has a large dead spot right in the middle (like most fans) and that is exactly were the core is......so I was thinking with a YS tech fan I might be able to get better performance since it has a much smaller dead spot.

I have also read that they have issues with shorting out, but it seems more like user error to me.

I was also wondering about the noise levels on these fans.

Thx

They are by no means quiet fans but if you wanna know if you'll be seeing improvements then YES.

i have one that i could sell to you - it's brand new, with sleeved cable (black expandable sleeving with black heatshrink).

btw, it's pretty quiet - although the DBA rating is higher than quiet fans, the noise is very low-key. looks cool, too.

PM me. this is the 36cfm version. will sell it cheap. :D

that is the one thing about them. They're not quiet at all but the noise they make is very "low key" as codeflux said. Sry I left that out. ;)
