I have my mind set that I am going to build a SFF computer. All that I really need it to handle, gaming-wise, are games like Counter Strike Source and HL2. Here is what I have so far...

Am I missing anything else? I know that I still need to add a hard drive and dvd burner. So far the total shipped is $459.66. Is this good? Or can I do better. I am aiming for a grand total of about 525-550ish without the monitor.
 
increase your budget to accommodate a better psu, i wouldn't trust any psu made by apevia. not many am2 people are fond of via chipsets, in fact you may want to wait for the new abit board which is coming out. get some ram from a better company and save your money and get a 3600 brisbane, it overclocks well and runs cooler than the windsor.
 
AM2 performs best with DDR2-800, and DDR2-800 for AM2 is best paired with a CPU that uses an even multiplier. Theres some Super Talent DDR2-800 for about $105 at eWiz.com (search for STT 6400). If you go with a Brisbane, stick with DDR2-667, because it uses half step multipliers.

I'd stick to the NVIDIA GeForce 6100 series chipset over VIA. If you want to use this as a media center box, for some video playback, go for a GF6150 board, like the abit NF-M2.

What size monitor will you be CS'ing on?

Also, replace the PSU in that case. Go for the XClio Goodpower 500W or 450W instead. Both are solid CWT build units with good cooling.
