Your Radeon9700pro OC's ??

Hi,

I've been trying to overclock my card somehow to squeeze maximum performance of out the damn thing. I'm not in the financial status to buy a new card since i 'll go PCI-E which needs another motherboard , New cpu .. memory ect..

so i tried to overclock it.

I'm curious about your overclocks perhaps i can even get more performance out of it.

Allright , Overclocks.

Default = (325/620)
Overclock = (380/700)

Im cooling my card using zalman 80d heatsink system. But still crashes sometimes.
Is my overclock even more overclockable, ( i've seen voltage modding )

I still have my 9700 pro! If it is crashing I would try turning the core down and see if that fixes it.

Also, try flashing a 9800Pro BIOS onto it. It will give you some extra performance when you enable IQ settings, like AA & AF.

Stock: 324 core 310 mem
Current (Normal use) O/C: 378 core 340 mem
Max O/C: 418 core 375 mem ati tool

all on stock voltage
amd copper heatsink with fan

I hit around 350/340 with my 9700 Pro. Not the best OC but plays CSS and everything else at 1024 fine.
