Recently, i've been hunting all over to replace my holy shit heavy "Blue Fantasy" case consisting of the Antec 1000AMG. But i've had no luck with a case that appeals to me style wise, weight, size, and cooling.

So then I thought, What are my dream wishes for the ultimate case and what are other peeps of the ideal case as well?

Heres mine....

1. Sturdy ALUMINUM construction. Steel is getting really old. Moving any kinda of case like mine is a total pain in the ass.

2. Twin 120mm intake and exhaust fans. Cmon, catch a clue case makers. The days of 7 80mm fans sounding like a harrier jet are dying, we are so sick of exessive noise and dust intake in our cases. 120mm move a tremendous amount of air at a lower decible. This is a no brainer

3. Style. This of course will GREATLY vary person to person. Personally, no case from Coolermaser really holds my interest. The Wavemaster I tried was a total joke, the Centurion has that gay ass dial in the front, the Preatorian would be almost perfect if it wasn't for the terribly lop sided USB front panel.

Antecs LAN Boy 2 is simply to gay looking for my taste. The 160 is to much chrome and design overdose, and the side panel with the locks is really bad. The performance series still has the best style of any case out there IMO.

Oh, and drive bay doors are no longer an option. Once and advocate of them, I now am so tired of that damn door getting my way everytime I need to put a cd in, check my tempatures or just wanna admire my drive bay paint job.

Lian Li's designs haven't changed for 3 freaking years. Way to boxy looking and boring. The twin intake fans that are side by side arn't the best cooling arrangment. Time for a new design team Lian.

Basically, take the Antec 1000AMG, make it out of aluminum, *cheiftec still makes the older style front, so its not an option* add 120mm exhaust and intake fans in place of the twin 80mms, and I would be one VERY happy modder and computer guru!:D

i would also want to see the proper usage of 120mm fans
i would like to see a door or something so that i could hide my drives
if there were no door then i would want it to use scerws to hold 5 1/4" stuff, not the sliding stuff that cheiftec has (harder to stealth and make look good)
i also want it to be aluminum b/c i KNOW that i will need to carry it around at some point in time
the side shouldnt have a fan on it b/c those fans are hard to hide wires AND they seem to make a lot of noise
a nice looking window made of high quality material should also be present :D

Well, I've got 2 different case wishes, the big boy (a full/server tower) and the little man (a mid tower).

For the big boy, I'd like to see:
a) A case that can mount a pair of 120mm fans intake and a 120mm fan exhaust (plus PSU fan of course).
b)Removable drive cage(s) that can pack at least 6 drives mounted in a way that minimizes vibration transfers.
c)Rail mounts for the extrenal bays that are both 1) solid and easy to use, and 2) not intrusive on the exterior of the case.
d)Removable motherboard tray that brings the expansion cards with it and can hold up to a full ATX motherboard.
e)Enough room above the PSU to mount either additional internal drives or a large watercooling resevoir.
f)Removable side panels that aren't huge sounding boards for sound to resonate off ot.

For the little man, I'd like to see
Everything from the Big Boy, except without 'e' and only a single 120mm front intake and at least a 4 drive cage.
