Just have my desktop be the server (if there is one) and everyone else uses laptops and sits wherever. LANs are easier than ever! :D

Same, I have about 3 PC's for guests and some bring their own. Last LAN I had at my house was 8 people, I handed out some Rosewill Wireless USB's to everyone and my D-Link DIR-655 was having a meltdown. Kept locking up every 30/45 minutes spiking everyones pings to 999. I need a new router :/
