Hello all,

I've got a HAF X and will be using crossfire lightning 6970s soon so I need to use as much cooling as possible.

So, if you've got a HAF X and modified the stock settings, please share what you've done to the case (whether added new fans, changed intake fans to exhaust air instead..etc).

Here's a picture of the stock setup ( I don't have the optional #2 & #5 fans):

Reverse 6, 5 and 1 to blow out.
Reverse 4, 3 and 2 to blow in.

Try it and post results.

Only with natural convection. Allowing cooler air to 'fall' into the case can assist in cooling.

This. With forced air cooling, convection is a non-factor. By drawing air in from the front and passing it over the HDD's, then past the PSU, then the GPU, then the SB/NB ships and RAM you are making a hard job harder. Pull in from the back and top and push out from the side and front. Parts that need cold air most get it faster.
