If I remember right some site was reviewing either a Thermalright or a Swiftech HSF and had some numbers comparing them to a WC setup. I have to review somewhere in my bookmarks, I could dig it up for you. Either way it is possible to cool a chip on air to with in a few degrees of a WC setup.
