Okay I'm currently running a external WCing rig but It's not as slick(looks, portability, size, ect) as I would like. So I went to the local Lowes and picked up about 18ft of 1/8in angled aluminum and made two frames. One of which is a little off but I'll correct it later.

I'm also going to add a PSU to the rig so I don't have to have wires running from my PC case to my watercooling case. The old fan was loud and not so cool looking so I switched it w/ this red LED fan and cut out he stock fan grill, replacing it w/ the gold one.

Next I cut off the 20pin ATX mobo header and used heat shrink to bundle them up.

I extended the green wire so I can rig the PSU up to a LED switch I will mound on the front of the watercooling box.

Then I added some of this spiral wrap stuff to make it neat.

So with the frame done and the PSU ready to go the next step is to get some sheet metal so I can put it all together. I had this handle laying around so I'm going to install it on the top to make hauling it around easier.

Updates might be kind of slow but it will eventually be complete :p
I'm going to explore my metal options tomorrow.

Done:
Make frame
Mod PSU to fix my needs.

To do:
Get metal
Install rads, res, and pump.
go wild.

guess I'm not the only one liking aluminum angle for a base frame for ext water cooling :)

We have sheet metal :D
Picked up three 12"x 24" sheets of 26 gauge sheets for.......$9.00 at Lowes  . It would of been more but the cashier and I where oogling at some girl and he didnt see the 3rd piece.
I have the top and bottom pieces measured out and ready to cut. I just need to find something to cut it with. My frames measure 19" long and 10" wide.

Any suggestions on how I should cut this? I have a table saw and was going to see if I can get a metal cutting blade for it.

a skill saw with metal blade, or even a hand hack saw will cut it.

Top and bottom done, they just need to be cleaned up a little.

:edit:
Handle is in! Just need to add some cross support to take the load off the sheet metal.

Almost three years and you guys bring this back from the dead.WTF
This problem is getting bad now. I have seen at least 4 or 5 of these very old threads being bumped in the last month or so. Watch the dates.
