I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas?
I have read all the posts, hints and tips.

I've got the p5b deluxe wifi, upgraded the bios to 711, with osz platinum rev2 2x1gb pc2-6400 sdram, and the E6300.
Everything booted up fine with the standards settings. I put on a new heat sink/fan on the E6300.
I am trying to overclock this setup. I can run the FSB up to around 430 and then no further. I don't seem to be limited on core clock, as I can lower the multiplier to 6x and still face the 430 FSB limit.
OSZ claims that this SDRAM should run up to 500mhz at 2.1v , so I suspect it isn't the problem.

I started with the setup guides on various sites.
I've played with the straps and they don't seem to have any effect.
I've twiddled the core voltage, NB,SB voltages and termination voltages, nothing has an effect. I've tried all the things i've read in the threads.

I do notice, as reported by others, that the NB gets real hot when I try to go past 430. I thought that the NB could be overclocked.

Is it possible that my board just won't run faster than this? When I look at the database, I see a lot of better results for the FSB. Obviously, with an E6300, I'm limited on the core clock to 7x.
thanks
Jonathan
