I am looking for a mobo to complete my rig that consists of an opty 165 (9x multi so ill need 300+), 7900gt (maybe sli later), 74 gig raptor (prolly another hdd at sata 2 later).

For the opty 165 with the 9x multiplier, I would like a mobo that ocs well. I am looking to spend up to $130 (preferably lower obviously). I was originally set on the dfi sli infinity but people have told me to stay away. Thus, I am still looking for one.

I am looking at the infinity in addition to these:

abit an8 sli
abit kn8 sli
epox ep-9npaj sli
epox ep-9npa+ sli
dfi sli d But, I dont want to go that high.
dfi sli dr Again, I dont want to go that high?

So, what do you think?

EDIT: also, this will be the first pc im building and i want it to be the most builder friendlyish thing if thats even possible

The DFI Ultra-D fits in your price range, and should you deciede to go SLI in the future, it is easily modded.

Another option is to watch the FS/FT forums. Not to long ago, i picked up a DFI SLI-DR in like-new condition for $125.

i barely feel comfortable building my own rig, i sure dont feel comfortable modding the mobo lol.

Which epox? Any other suggestions?
