Well, I have been experimenting with my new build, and I think I decided to go aftermarket cooling on the PWM, northbridge and southbridge. I will either modify the existing cooling mechanism (through heatpipe mod or other mods) with Arctic Silver 5 and/or thermal epoxy; or, I will just buy aftermarket northbridge heatsink and stick some passive sinks on the southbridge and PWM's.

What do you guys think? Should I try the Thermalright HR05 or wahtever or just modify the stock cooling apparatus.

I am shooting for 500 FSB for my E6750 to reach 4.0GHz.

Note: My CPU cooling is NOT AN ISSUE as my E6750 and Tuniq Tower are both lapped and staying very cool. ~45C load is highest I have seen.

Southbridge cooling probably isn't an issue & indeed with a dual core probably neither are northbridge or PWM.
I would start with the bolt mod on the existing sinks if you feel the need.

You like Abits too, huh?

I just went from an ancient, but good, NF7s-Rev 2 with a 2400 Mobile Barton to what you see in sig.

So far, so good with this Abit as well.
