SILVERSTONE ST85ZF ATX12V / EPS12V 850W SLI Certified Power Supply
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor
2 x G.SKILL 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000

2 x Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD7500AAKS 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
2 x SAMSUNG 20X DVD±R DVD Burner Black SATA

Give me some feed back on what might be better or could be changed. Don't worry about budget because mine is pretty much up there. :p

It looks good, but where is your video card? Also, I would wait for the desktop Penryn CPUs to come out.

like all things the video card is up in the air just like everything else because new stuff is do out during the set build time.

Yeah that will be in the plans also I'm looking at maybe spending 3,000 on this but can go much higher but don't plan to. It will be a multitask system that is quad core for sure and will have to be future proof.

From my current SN25P I will use the hard disks (76GB Raptor....) and my Asus 8800GTS 320mb.
