Yay! My first SFF ordered.

After a couple months of indecision, I finally ordered the parts for my first SFF, an SN95G5. I got that, the San Diego 3700+, and a new DVD burner. I'll be migrating my X800 Pro, RAM, and sound card from my old PC. I can't wait! I'll probably have some pics then when I put everything together.

I did think long and hard about PCI-E. But, I decided to stick with AGP since my X800 Pro is still relatively new and suits me just fine. We'll see how that decision plays out in the future...

What will you be doing with youre remaining parts? Cuase if that mobo us a nforce 2 Ultra I may be interested in picking it up .

I might consider selling it. It's an Asus A7N8X (is that ultra?). I've got an XP 2700+ in there right now.

really tho, some video cards cant fit with sound cards sometimes

I have the sn95g and love it... except for the OB sound. Its horrible. The Nvidia software didnt work either. Coudlnt raise of lower bass or treble, weak output too. It sounded liek crap on my Logitech Z680 speakers. Had to put my Audigy 2 in.

Not sure what kind of onboard audio is in the sn95g, but from what I've been reading the via envy24 in the sn25p is far superior in sound quality compared to the audigy2.

nope not me, I don't play halo, and of course some cards don't fit together but this setup per hardware does

Its Ac97 crap like that. What makes it worse, is the Nvidia sound control software.
