so i just got ut2004, with the specific purpose of going through fileshack and downloading all of the mod goodness that everyone has been raving about only to find out their database server died, and they are in the process of rebuilding it. so through googling and searching the forum (which was a pain in the ass) i have downloaded the following mods, but i know i missed a few good ones. also i just got quake 3 which i never played before, and supposedly there are a lot of good mods for that too. any suggestions?

here is my list of mods that i downloaded, and some other good links, in case anybody else is wondering the same thing.

i got the special dvd edition because i wish to learn how to mod, so if anybody knows any good links to tutorials that also would be appreciated. thanks!

i3lacKynyte, great post. I am going to purchase ut2004 also. I am purchasing it not only becuase it seems to be a great game itself, but also for the many great mods for it (i.e. Red Orchestra). I also had the intention on trying out the most mods I can, and your post will certainly help. I'm getting the SE because I'd rather have 1 DVD to install instead of 5-6 CDs.

By the way, you seemed to have miss one mod for your list. The mod is called Jungle Warfare - http://www.junglewarfare.jolt.co.uk/ .
