I have been out of the loop for a bit with cooling. Are YateLoons still considered the best fan out there (120mm)?

If so what model are the popular ones... I am having a tough time finding them listed anywere... If I can track down a model I was planning to have my purchaser bring me a box in.

Looking for ~60CFM and sub 28dB. Though I am flexible on that.

Yate Loons are still very good for radiator fans, considering their price. But if you are willing to pay a premium, then yeah get the gentle typhoon

Best mainstream fan.

San Ace 9G1212H101 are one of the best (if not the best) noise to airflow + static pressure.

Thanks for the input fellas, Ordered a case of GT's this morning, ended up coming to $4.64 a unit :)

A CASE??? Now that's [H]ard!

I'll take a couple when you need to resell some. Thx ;)

I used to use YateLoon Mediums for awhile until I got my AP15s.. I don't think I'll ever switch back to Yates unless I'm short on cash.

Yate Loon is okay but not king and, being sleeve bearing fans, should not be used in the horizontal position (e.g. at the top of your case)

Whoa. Where did you order them from?

Lol, Needed a bunch so why not... we use them up pretty quick around here to it makes more sence to order an entire case instead of 5-15 at a time... costs a bit less to.

Ordered them directly from Scythe

Never knew that about Sleeve bearings... I will need to keep that in mind.
