• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

YAIV - Yet Another Intel Vulnerability

I'm done with your ignorance, I don't need to be a "professional exploiter" to know how they work, or where the security community has their attention. You keep posting the same non-sense about how many Intel exploits worked on AMD, it's irrelevant. BTW some of them did/do work on AMD machines, or do AMD systems no longer require mitigation? 7% will garner about that much in scrutiny and funding, you do the math.

Already did the math more than a few posts ago. Numbers don’t lie and I’ve shown the security design from the start is superior to over and over one off patching - that never fixes the underlying issues. That’s what the smart server guys are thinking.

It’s not the old “never got fired for buying intel” mentality anymore. Just have to take a look at the forums here for cpu to see the trend. Or anywhere for that matter.

7% server share today
10% tomorrow
I’m thinking 20% by 2021, maybe more.

And the more their market share climbs the more they will be hacked or be the targets of attempts as they will be worth the effort. Especially when they start shiping laptops in volume.

Are we seriously using AMDFLAWS.com as gospel ITT? That site redirects to CTS-LABS with no info about any of those flaws after a cursory glance.

Are there any actual CVEs for any of those flaws? My understanding is the majority of those exploits' requirements were already in LOLPWNED territory.
