nice, if the 6800 and the ultra are the same core and technology, i might consider picking up a non-ultra =)

how much faster is the NU compared to the 9800 pro? 9800 XT?
 
I thought $400 was a little low for the nv40 Ultra part, and I was right ;)
$300 for the nu isn't bad at all, though I'd imagine that means much slower RAM and half as much of it.
 
One at $500 and one at $300 at launch? Yeesh, the non-Ultra is going to completely cannibalize the Ultra's sales.

It's like the Ti4600 vs. Ti4400 but magnified.

Not that I'm complaining. I hope both ATi and Nvidia keep doing this type of pricing scheme. :)

You are going to feel real stupid tomorrow when you find out that those numbers are from the GeForce 6800, and not the Ultra. BTW, show me where you read about the card " NVIDIA was hyping it to be" fanboy. I couldn't find a damn thing NVIDIA has said about it other than their little teaser page.

You are guilty of point 2. Anyone "good at the internet" would know not to believe pretty much anything you read on it. You, for example, are placing your bet on allegedly "leaked" HardOCP content residing on some unknown hosted server. Most webmasters don't have their works in progress on the live server, readily available for compromise. You have proven yourself a complete fool, a gullible one at that. No one has seen ANY credible numbers yet on the NV40 posted on the Internet..

[H] has a very signature way of doing reviews. I can assure you that those pics are genuine. Why? because I've read all the [H] reviews in the last couple of years. I can guarantee that noone went to the trouble of photoshopping 106 pictures and perfectly replicated the [H] review style.

Oh heres another thing, if it was fake, would all the threads about it be dropping like flies?

To prove point 1, THE PICTURES SAY GEFORCE 6800 ULTRA

What is the lesson here? People with 10 posts should not be flaming those who have obviously been active members of these forums for a long time.

Post count, lol. Hate to burst your bubble, but post count has nothing to do with penis size, intelligence, experience on the Internet, or anything for that matter. I was posting on BBS's in 1989, that's before you were a gleam in your old man's eye. There IS NO REVIEW. There are a bunch of gifs on a finnish webserver. Get a clue, noob.

Nowhere in the board ToS does it say post count gives you seniority, nor does it say it gives you the right to post unsubstantiated BS about something you have no clue about period. Nope. I have been laughing at video card fanboys since this all started when V1 was released. You're acting like a fanboy, period. r420 and NV40 are not in the hands of the general public and there are no reviews for the public to read about either at this time.
