Yahoo IM client freezeing?

I have been using the latest build of Yahoo's Instant Messaging client for about 2 months and as of the last two days I have been having a problem. I launch the app and it oad alright, log in, ok, then its like clock work 4-5 seconds later no matter what I do it locks up and that app gets the spinning beachball and I have to force quit.
